ECU Women’s Roundtable
The ECU Women’s Roundtable aims to support East Carolina University by creating a culture of giving; building a strong volunteer base of women committed to advancing the university; forming a deeper pool of women capable of assuming leadership roles at ECU; building community among women graduates and providing a channel for alumnae to play an active role in the university.
Through leadership, service, networking, and philanthropy, the Roundtable recognizes the role women play in shaping the future of the region, the state and the nation.
Message from the Chair
Dear Alumni and Friends,
As the East Carolina University Women’s Roundtable kicks off a new year, I am incredibly humbled and honored to serve as the organization’s Chair. We are continuing a proud legacy of service for current and future alumnae and building on a tradition that has had a fundamental impact on the history of the university. Our heartfelt commitment to leadership, service, networking, and philanthropy is a testament to generations of Roundtable members who have “paid it forward” and built our incredible legacy.
Through annually funded awards and scholarship endowments, The Women’s Roundtable provides need and merit-based aid to deserving ECU students. Since 2008, the Women’s Roundtable has awarded over $100,000 in scholarships, established an endowed Access Scholarship, and inspired numerous individuals to make impressive personal commitments to the university. The Women’s Roundtable aspires to raise an additional $300,000 to establish two new scholarship endowments; one for Honors College and one Access Scholars. Check out some of our current scholarship recipients.
