Message from the Chair of the Women’s Roundtable

Dear Alumni and Friends,

As the East Carolina University Women’s Roundtable kicks off a new year, I am incredibly humbled and honored to serve as the organization’s Chair. We are continuing a proud legacy of service for current and future alumnae and building on a tradition that has had a fundamental impact on the history of the university. Our heartfelt commitment to  leadership, service, networking, and philanthropy is a testament to generations of Roundtable members who have “paid it forward” and built our incredible legacy.

The ECU Women’s Roundtable aims to support East Carolina University by

• Creating a culture of giving;
• Building a strong volunteer base of women committed to advancing the university;
• Forming a deeper pool of women capable of assuming leadership roles at ECU; and
• Building community among women graduates and providing a channel for alumnae to play an active role in the university.

We have some bold and audacious goals in the coming term, and I hope you will join me and the rest of the dedicated women of this organization in accomplishing every single one of them. What we do today will inspire those that follow us – so let’s work together to connect women in meaningful and empowering ways.
