Scholarship Recipients
Current Women’s Roundtable Access Scholars
Allison Kostick is a Junior from Robbins, NC. She graduated from Uwharrie Charter Academy. Allison is pursuing a degree in Elementary Education. She plans to further her education and pursue her Masters in Occupational Therapy. At ECU, she has been involved with FUSE and the College of Education Living Learning Community.
She is the recipient of the Kathy A. Taft Memorial Women’s Roundtable Access Scholarship and has an anticipated graduation date of December 2025.
Ashley Williford is a Junior from Engelhard, NC. She graduated from Pungo Christian Academy. Ashley is majoring in Elementary Education and plans to return to her hometown to teach 1st or 2nd grade. She is involved with the College of Education Living Learning Community and the Campus Christian Fellowship.
She is the recipient of the Kathy A. Taft Memorial Women’s Roundtable Access Scholarship and has an anticipated graduation date of May 2026.
Chayla Miller is a Senior from New Bern, NC. She was transfer student from Craven Community College. Chayla is majoring in Elementary Education. While being in the classroom is an early career goal, Chayla hopes to return to ECU and obtain her Masters in School Counseling to help her students with the transition in schools to life after graduation. At ECU, she is involved with the CARE Corps through the AmeriCorps program.
She is a recipient of the Women’s Roundtable Access scholarship and has an anticipated graduation date of May 2025.
Hannah King is a Freshman from Hallsboro, NC. She graduated from East Columbus Junior-Senior High School. Hannah is pursuing majors in Biology and Neuroscience. She plans to continue to medical school once she completes her undergraduate education. In high school, Hannah participated in many clubs and organizations such as JROTC, FFA, Varsity Soccer and Tennis, and was the senior class Vice President. Within her first few weeks at ECU, she applied and was selected to work in a lab at the Brody School of Medicine.
She is the recipient of the Women’s Roundtable Access Scholarship and has an anticipated graduation date of May 2028.
Kristin Frazier is a Junior from Farmville, NC. She graduated from Farmville Central High School. Kristin was accepted into the College of Nursing and is pursuing her degree in Nursing. She plans to become a Pediatric ICU nurse in the coastal area of NC. She also has plans to return to further her education as a Nurse Practitioner. At ECU, Kristin is involved with several organizations such as Student Pirate Club, Nursing Chirstian Fellowship, and the East Carolina Association of Nursing Students (ECANS).
She is the recipient of the Kay Chalk Women’s Roundtable Access Scholarship and has an anticipated graduation date of May 2026.
